Release Description:
After the success of their last single 'Vanilla Sky', The Ukraine musical heroes known as 'Smart Apes' return in fine style with their follow-up release 'Running Away' - this time on a collaboration with DJ Anna Lee.
Recently showcased on the 'Blueprints 2010' album, this is lovely yet deep sounding number awash with a fusion of ethereal floating vocals, dark progressions, rolling basses and Summer-y melodies.
On remix duties, Alex Tee-B kicks things off nicely - picking up the pace on a tougher-edged vibe with driving skippy percussion which works well to compliment the Original. Meanwhile 'Existone' continues to take thing up a notch towards big room territory, re-working the melodies with a mix that chugs away to great effect
Finally to round things off, Radio 1 favourite 'Fatkid' (recently responsible for his Sonique remix as featured on the Global Gathering 2010 album) goes all out with a proper 140 bpm banger of a mix for those who like it tough and uplifting
Also complete with dub mixes for those who like their music a little less vocal driven this is undoubtedly another classy sounding package to take Deepblue and Smart Apes into 2011.
