Dido is derived from Henry Purcell's opera Dido and Aeneas, adapted from the aria 'Dido's Lament'.
Willow is derived from Giuseppe Verdi's opera Otello, adapted from the aria 'Willow Song'.
The DJ Tiesto Magikal Remake combines opera and beautiful trancemusic together. This is more than just a track, it's a story. The fairytale introduction, the banging bassline and out of this world sound fx make this one of Tiesto's best works to date. A perfect combination of opera and trancemusic.
Armin's Remix is also very strong, with a stunning intro, but the track as a whole is straightforward trance in the line of other Armin van Buuren productions in that time era.
