Release Description:
Roddy Reynaert has made a strong comeback to the scene of progressive house and trance in 2012. He's had several releases on leading progressive labels such as Anjunadeep, Colorize / Enhanced Music and Intricate as well as gained support from names such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Gareth Emery, Andy Moor and Jaytech. 2012 also became the year of Ifonika -- Reynaert's own moniker and own label.
Ifonika Recordings stands for quality progressive music and is not only an outlet for Roddy's own material but also a place for friends to release their records. The first release is of course by no other than the man himself.
Belverin is a typical feel-good progressive track a la Roddy Reynaert. Expect a long but extremely drawing build-up with a good house club groove. The breakdown is pure "hands in the air" with the main melody leaving behind a smile on ones face.
The flip side follows the tradition of being radically different. Annie is darker and keeps pushing forward with an ongoing loop followed by a break of synthetic goodness.
Belverin and Annie are the first of many great things to come on Ifonika!
