Andrew Benson first burst onto the EDM scene with his "Before Glow" EP for Royal Sapien's Olaris label (remixed by James Warren). Since then, he has gone on to release on a number of labels including Spring Tube, Nueva Digital and a remix licensed to Tiesto's Black Hole Recordings, with support from the likes of Moonbeam, Answer42 and Ad Brown. Following on from this success, Andrew's track "Underwater" became the best-selling track on the %u2018Fall Particles Compilation' towards the end of 2011. Now rewarded with that success, the Russian native now receives the Particles remix treatment courtesy of Maxi Valvona and Martin Etchegaray. Maxi Valvona is certainly no stranger to world of progressive house under his Ad Brown guise with an impressive string of high-profile productions and cross-genre support from progressive stalwarts, Sasha, Nick Warren and Dave Seaman, as well as trance legends Ferry Corsten and Gareth Emery. Furthermore, he recently released of a hugely successful sample pack through %u2018Freshly Squeezed' which gained support from none other than Armin Van Buuren for its superb usability. Under his own name, Ad is also co-host of the Silk Royal Showcase on Proton Radio. By contrast, he calls Maxi Valvona "my darkside" and this is evident in the deep groove, chopped stabs and emotive melodies that permeate through his "Underwater" remix, while Ad Brown's sense of dancefloor rhythm bubbles away underneath. With such cross-genre appeal this remix exudes quality. Argentinean, Martin Etchegaray is a Proton familiar with a plethora of tracks signed to Balkan Connection, Replug, Liquid Grooves, Per-Vurt and a sublime hypnotic remix of Santiago Garcia for Dark Pleasure in 2011. Here, Martin's remix is a luscious, aural feast for the ears, full of swirling pads and light melodies echoing those themes found in the original, not least in the connotations of the title track itself.
