Intricate Records scheduled the release of a single by August Rush, producer from the Russian city of Arkhangelsk, featuring two tracks: “Here & Now” and “This Is The August Rush”, for the second half of July 2012.
“Here & Now” is a classic-sounding progressive track which is heard from the beginning to the very end literary in one breath. The title “here and now” as though invites us to enjoy its simple-hearted plainness and cheerful mind without a backward glance at the eternally evanescent time and frequently unsuitable place. “This Is The August Rush”, conversely, contains of multiple intriguing elements and arabesque sounds which permanently tickle the ears. “This Is The August Rush” is an ideal soundtrack for a summer evening before going out to party. Altogether the upcoming release might be called “a record from the city of angels”. And not just because August Rush’s hometown is Arkhangelsk, but, first of all, because his productions charge up the listeners with warm kindhearted emotions and do not bear down or hang heavy.
“An incredible journey moving at the speed of sound”, the slogan of a prominent American movie “August Rush”, might be broadly applied to the music of Alexander Shchelchkov, who is producing under the same creative alias. Alexander’s works are notable for freshness and lightweightness, some of his original productions and remixes have already seen the light of day on junior Russian labels including Incepto, Yellow Avenue, Spring Tube and Bomba. Despite the young age, Alexander already hosts his own radio show “August All The Time Show” on Pure FM and gains support by prominent progressive producers, including Answer42 of Anjunadeep. Now the time has come for August Rush to see his debut release on Intricate Records.
The upcoming single on Intricate Records will include “Here & Now” and “This Is The August Rush” by August Rush, is scheduled for July 30, 2012. It will be available for public on Beatport.
