Release Description:

Ukrainian artist Polonski is rapidly becoming one of most interesting artists to follow on Echelon. He studied the piano and started producing in his early school years, releasing his first works as "Vokanoya". In late 2011 he presented his new moniker on Echelon by releasing Hover Over / Marathon. The EP portrayed the artist with some unconventional tech trance and received air time in high profile radio shows such as Corsten's Countdown. It was soon followed by a more mellow release Find Me / 22, which was also well received and charted. Polonski's newest release includes two tracks "Last Hope" and "Ice", both quite different from each other in atmosphere. Last Hope is based on a groovy progressive beat and a revolving lead cycle, topped with other melodic elements and minimal developments. The percussions work nicely with the melodic structure and the track flows smoothly, with an upbeat positive vibe. Ice on the other hand has a darker, more intensive feel, with sombre pad work creating a cool canvas for glistening plucks and bright lead theme. The percussions strike a sharp rhythm and Polonski's skillfully interlaced melodies keep things evolving.
