Release Description:
The first single to be taken from Boom Jinx's forthcoming debut artist album, "Phoenix From The Flames" sees the Norwegian musical master venture into more uptemo, trance-fuelled territories than before - with instantly impressive results.
Teaming up with Oceanlab songstress Justine Suissa for a powerful vocal anthem that is both emotive and uplifting, Boom Jinx translates all his trademark production finesse in style - with Justine's wistful lyrics adding layers of meaning and emotion.
With a truly gargantuan riff exploding in the breakdown, "Phoenix From The Flames" is destined to destroy dancefloors the world over and already holds the accolade as a recent Record Of The Week on Above & Beyond's TATW.
The initial single also includes an impressively euphoric remix from ascendant duo Omnia & The Blizzard, with a second package featuring reworks from man of the moment Maor Levi and 80s-inspired synth enigma Michael Cassette.
Anjunabeats is the trance label owned and A&R'ed by Above & Beyond.
"Anjunabeats makes everyone else look silly" Mixmag. "The world's most consistent trance label" DJ Magazine.
